(she/her/hers)

Founder, And Therapy

Kate Rifkin, LMHC (she/her/hers) is a licensed mental health therapist who works in her own private practice And Therapy. Kate is a queer clinician who specializes in working with student-athletes, young adults, and high-achieving professionals. Kate is a lifelong athlete and played division I basketball at Princeton University.

Throughout her athletic career, she witnessed firsthand the stigma and lack of access athletes have to adequate mental health care. She entered the mental health space, after a brief stint in finance, to help erase that gap and provide a much needed service to the athletic community. Kate completed her dual master's degree in counseling psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and is currently licensed in NY, NJ, CT, FL, and CO.
