Haley Hopkins Thomas
Education Program Coordinator
Hi everyone! I’m Haley!! I grew up in Northern Virginia in a big, sports-loving family full of former collegiate athletes, which is where my love for athletics began. That passion took me to the College of William & Mary, where I played Division I field hockey and earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
During my senior year of high school, I sustained a hip injury that ultimately reshaped my relationship with sport. Navigating the physical recovery after surgery alongside the mental challenges of injury gave me firsthand insight into how deeply connected mental and physical health truly are. That experience sparked my interest in human movement, anatomy, and athlete well-being, and continues to influence the work I do today!
After graduating in 2021, I spent several years in Richmond, VA, before eventually making my way to the coast. I now live in Wilmington, North Carolina with my husband and our two golden retrievers, Reilly and Rory. You can usually find us near the beach, soaking up sunshine and salty air whenever we can.
Outside of work, I love fitness classes, early morning beach walks with iced coffee in hand, and anything that lets me spend time outdoors with my dogs. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the Morgan’s Message community and passionate about supporting athletes as whole humans, on and off the field.
